Boulevard Brewing Company was founded in 1989 by John McDonald in Kansas City, Missouri, and has since grown into one of the largest and most recognizable craft breweries in the Midwest. Driven by a passion for European-style beers, McDonald kickstarted a contemporary craft beer renaissance in a region previously dominated by major industrial lagers.
